Talking about the thought behind the look of Vijay Devarakonda’s dress, Anamika said, ‘Vijay Devarakonda’s wedding dress, rooted in the textile heritage of Hyderabad, was made with Vanasingaram (weaving method) weaving. A sleek ivory dhoti is paired with a vermilion outfit. It is embroidered with forest and temple artistry. Symbols of power, lineage and sacred architecture are represented in their clothing. Since Vijay Devarakonda belongs to the community of weavers, his clothes are designed keeping that in mind.
