The All India Representative Assembly of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh i.e. RSS is being held this year in Samalkha, Haryana from 13 March to 15 March 2026. From the point of view of the Sangh, it is a meeting of the supreme decision making unit. In the meeting, along with discussion on the current national scenario, proposals will also be passed on some important topics. The plan for training classes in Sangh education class and worker development class literature will be discussed and the Sangh work plan for the coming year will be decided. This is an important meeting from the Sangh’s point of view. In this, the work of the year is discussed and future plans are discussed. From the point of view of publicity of the Sangh, the publicity of the Sangh is increased under this system in metropolitan and provincial areas.

What decisions can be taken?

According to information received from reliable sources of RSS, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has prepared to make organizational changes on the occasion of its centenary year, which is highly likely to be discussed in this meeting. Once it is approved here between March 13 and March 15, it will be announced and implemented in the All India Representative Assembly in March 2027, which will be held in Nagpur. According to the information received from the Sangh, the Sangh wants to end the provincial arrangements and bring it on the lines of the state pracharak. RSS has 45 provinces and 11 regions. The union is thinking deeply about reducing the 11 zones to 9 zones. The Union is considering the issue of State Pracharak for the 45 provinces. The union is thinking of a new system regarding appointing division campaigner. According to the new composition, now division campaigners will be appointed instead of province campaigners. There is every possibility that all these topics will be discussed in this meeting. If seen from Maharashtra’s point of view, there are four provinces in Maharashtra – Vidarbha, Konkan, Devagiri and Western Maharashtra. Vidarbha has two divisions – Nagpur and Amravati. In this way, there is a lot of scope to increase the number of divisions in the union.

There may be less field campaigners?

The Sangh is thinking deeply about replacing 11 area campaigners with 9 area campaigners. If we look at the number of area campaigners who are decreasing, then according to the system running, the area campaigners of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh are different. But according to the new system that the Sangh is thinking about, there will be only one area pracharak in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. According to the information received, the Sangh is thinking of adding the area of Kshetra Pracharak of Rajasthan to North Kshetra Pracharak.

Preparation to strengthen the grassroots level

According to the information received from the Sangh, there will be a State Pracharak in a state, who will plan the works of the Sangh in his state. Under this, the Sangh is focusing on the need to change the structure of the organization to strengthen the grassroots level. If this is implemented then the distance between the senior officials of the Sangh and the grassroots level will reduce, decisions will be taken faster and emphasis can be given on social work. According to the information received, the metropolitan, union department and district campaigner will not change the system. There is a possibility of discussion on whether this system will continue as before. If agreed upon in this meeting, it will be implemented after the 2027 meeting. Since it is the centenary year, it has been decided not to make any changes this year, but if it is approved in this meeting, then this change can be seen from 2027.
