‘The Kerala Story 2’ Release Amidst Controversy; Horrible collection

‘The Kerala Story 2’ before release (The Kerala Story 2) The movie created a lot of controversy. The controversy of this movie reached the High Court. Because of that the release of the film got delayed a bit. The movie was released on Friday (February 27) evening in very few places. Saturday (February 28) was released everywhere as usual. The total collection of the movie ‘The Kerala Story 2’ for both these days (Box Office Collection) The estimate is Rs 5.40 crore.

The film was released only in a handful of theaters on February 27 as the court permission for the film’s release was delayed. According to Sacnilk report, this movie earned only 75 lakh rupees that day. It earned Rs 4.65 crore on the second day, Saturday (February 28). I wonder how much the collection will be on Sunday (March 1).

Released in 2023, the movie ‘The Kerala Story’ collected 8.05 crore rupees on its first day. The total collection of that film was 242 crore rupees. After that success, the movie ‘The Kerala Story 2’ was made. But the sequel did not get the expected opening. Even though the controversy made a lot of news, people did not show interest in this film.

There is an allegation that Kerala has been portrayed badly in the movie ‘The Kerala Story 2’. So there is a protest going on in Kerala against this film. So the screening of this movie has been canceled in many places. Due to this, the collection of this film in Kerala is terrible.
