Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke on phone to United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Sunday night. During this, he strongly condemned the attacks carried out by Iran on the countries of the Middle East amid the increasing tension in the Gulf. Expressing condolences on the loss of life and property in these attacks by Iran, he also thanked President Nahyan for the safety of the Indian community.

Prime Minister Modi wrote on Instagram, ‘I spoke to the President of UAE, my brother Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. I strongly condemned the attacks on UAE and expressed my deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in these attacks. India stands in solidarity with the UAE in these difficult times. I expressed my gratitude to him for taking care of the Indian community. We support de-escalation, regional peace, security and stability.
