The Foreign Minister warned that America would regret deeply for setting such a precedent of attacking without warning.

‘The US has committed an atrocity in the ocean 2,000 miles from Iran’s shores,’ Araghchi wrote on Twitter. The frigate Dena, which was the visiting ship of the Indian Navy, had about 130 sailors on board. The attack was carried out without any warning in international waters. Many people likely to be killed in the attack

This was the first incident of sinking an enemy ship by torpedo since World War II. The attack took place when the frigate (small warship) was returning from a joint naval exercise in India. The US attack was carried out in international waters off the coast of Sri Lanka in the Indian Ocean. It is being told that at least 101 people are missing after the attack. Many people are reported to have died in the attack.
