A fight started between the producer and director of ‘The Kerala Story’

Sudipto Sen had raised controversy about the movie ‘The Kerala Story 2’ a few days ago. He had alleged that this movie was made based on WhatsApp messages. Vipul Amritlal Shah has now responded to that. Vipul Amritlal Shah lashed out at ‘Sudipto Sen’s script as if it belonged in the dustbin’.

‘Looking at their situation, it is like sour grapes. In fact, Sudeepto had written a script for The Kerala Story 2. But it was completely trashed. That’s why I decided to make a sequel with new director Kamakya Narayan Singh,’ said Vipul.

‘They don’t know what kind of research we have done. He was not involved in the research process. So how is it right to criticize? I cannot remain silent when my film is attacked. His statements are baseless’, thundered Vipul Amritlal Shah.

According to Sudipto Sen, who researched for the first part for 10 years, Sudipto Sen said, ‘Sequel is a sensitive matter. Telling the story of states outside Kerala requires a deeper study. I am not ready to make a film based on WhatsApp messages or press reports alone. As a responsible director, I will not do such work’.
