He said that in the present era, India can show the way to the world as to what should be the new world order in a world full of conflicts and controversies. It should be based on trust and cooperation.

The President of Finland praised Foreign Minister Jaishankar and referred to one of his statements that Europe’s problem is the world’s problem but the world’s problem is not Europe’s problem. He said that we need to work together to overcome the ongoing wars and problems in the world. The liberal world order that emerged after World War 2 is now dead. If we do not follow international rules then the existing world order will collapse. We need to learn a lot from India. India’s foreign policy has been all-oriented since independence. Inspires the world to move forward in the spirit of mutual cooperation. Along with non-alignment, India took forward its partnership in various fields. Europe should learn this from India.

He said that India’s strength lies in active engagement. It also gives priority to collective security. India did not isolate itself. Recently its treaty with the European Union has been very important. India’s relations have been based on mutual respect and common interest.

He suggested that India should invite world leaders to Delhi so that the foundation of a new cooperative world order could be laid. For this he suggested starting ‘New Delhi Movement’.
