A frightening incident of a love affair came to light on Saturday in Ogal Bhatta area of ​​Clementtown area of ​​Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. The dispute between the boyfriend and girlfriend, who were studying together in a private educational institution, took such a violent turn that both of them attacked each other with a knife kept in the kitchen. Both have been seriously injured in this incident and have been admitted to the hospital.

According to the information received from the police, the injured youth (21 years) is originally from Meerut and the girl (21 years) is a resident of Dehradun. Both are first year MCA students at a private institute based in Clementtown. It is being told that both of them were in love relationship for a long time, but in the last few days their relationship had turned sour.

Police investigation has revealed that the student was in contact with another youth for some time. There was a dispute going on between the male and female students regarding this matter. On Saturday, the student had come to the student’s room in Ogal Bhatta to talk about this issue.

During the conversation the argument escalated so much that both lost their temper. In a fit of rage, they picked up the knives kept in the kitchen and attacked each other. Hearing the screams, people nearby informed the police. The police team reached the spot and immediately took both the blood-soaked students to the hospital.

Police officials said that during the struggle, the student suffered a serious injury on her neck, for which the doctors operated successfully. The student is also injured. At present, the condition of both is stable and they are said to be out of danger.
