The incident took place in a private school located in Doddanagamangala area of ​​the city. On March 5, the mother of the victim student lodged a complaint against the female teacher. In the complaint, the child’s parents allege that on March 2 in the afternoon, the school teacher asked the child a math question, which their son could not answer. On this the teacher twisted the child’s ears, slapped his face and hit his shoulder with a wooden stick. Along with this, the teacher also abused the child.

The child’s parents say that this incident has had a bad effect on the child’s mind and he is mentally disturbed.

Under which sections the case was registered?

Police said that on the basis of the complaint, a case was registered against the accused teacher under sections 115 (2) (voluntarily causing hurt), 118 (1) (voluntarily causing hurt or grievous hurt by dangerous weapons or instruments) and 352 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) of the Indian Justice Code.

He said that the accused teacher was called for questioning. She apologized to the parents for her actions and after assuring that she would not repeat it again, the matter was resolved between them.

After this matter came to light, people are discussing about the female teacher and the child. He says that the teacher should not have behaved cruelly with the child. At the same time, some people are also saying that the child’s parents should not have lodged a complaint with the police.
