New Delhi: The ongoing war between America, Israel and Iran has entered its 12th day today. Due to this war, the situation in West Asia has become very tense and unstable at present. In such a situation, thousands of Indians are stranded in the countries of West Asia.
Meanwhile, India’s major airline Air India and its low-cost subsidiary Air India Express have issued a major update regarding their flights. Both the airlines together will operate a total of 58 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to West Asia today, March 11.

The airspace in this region has been significantly affected due to the increasing conflict between America, Israel and Iran. At many places, air routes have been closed or strict restrictions have been imposed. Despite these challenges, the Air India Group has decided to operate its services in a planned and measured manner considering the gravity of the situation.
A total of 58 flights will operate from West Asia to India on Wednesday. Air India, in a statement issued on Tuesday, clarified that they will continue their scheduled services to Jeddah and Muscat on March 11 as well.
Earlier, according to the Aviation Ministry of India, on March 9, Indian airlines companies had operated 45 flights from West Asia. Of these, 7,047 passengers came. Air India and Air India Express operate a total of 36 unscheduled flights to and from the UAE, depending on slots and other circumstances.
