Where did Monalisa-Farman’s love story start?

Monalisa-Farman pair formed on social media. The Mahakumbh beauty had lost her heart on a Facebook friend request just one and a half years ago. It started with a simple friendship, the series of chatting increased and within no time the friendship turned into deep love. Monalisa was secretly pursuing her love story for the last 18 months. Today the same Facebook friendship has reached the doorstep of the temple and taken the form of marriage.

Strong opposition from family on inter-religious love

Due to different religions, Monalisa and Farman’s families opposed their relationship and marriage. Monalisa’s father Jai Singh Bhosale put pressure on her to marry as per his choice, after which the couple reached Kerala. Meanwhile, during the shooting of Malayalam film ‘Nagamma’ in Poovar, Monalisa’s father tried to forcibly take her home. After this Monalisa and Farman had to take shelter in Thampanoor police station for safety.

Monalisa’s marriage took place with the help of police

Monalisa told the police that her family wanted to marry her to a relative against her wishes. In this hour of crisis, the crew members of his film reached the police station and supported him. According to the SHO, since Monalia was an adult, she was allowed to go with Farman and her father was sent back empty handed. As soon as the green signal was received from the police, the doors of the Arumanoor temple were opened for this inter-religious marriage.
