Thousands of cylinders recovered in Bhopal
The administration has taken major action in Bhopal, MP. Here, police and administration together have recovered 668 cylinders from a closed gas agency. Three truck cylinders have been found here, which is a huge success during the crisis. 1574 cylinders which were not registered have also been recovered. It is being told that the closed gas agency was selling LPG cylinders to the people at expensive prices.
Raids at various places in Mumbai also
Even in the country’s financial capital Mumbai, action is being taken against those involved in black marketing of LPG. The administration has seized domestic and commercial cylinders during the raid in Worli, Mumbai. During the raid, 6 filled and 58 empty cylinders of 5 kg were recovered. It is alleged that the work of filling and selling cylinders illegally was going on. Many big restaurants have been closed due to LPG crisis in Mumbai. Amidst the crisis, some are now resorting to the stove. In famous restaurants of Mumbai, food is now being cooked on stoves with the help of coal and wood.
People standing in line in UP
After the order of CM Yogi in UP, the administration is on alert amid the LPG crisis. District Supply Officer raided the gas agency in Moradabad. Complaints of misappropriation were being received against the agency, after which action was taken and the gas warehouse was sealed by the administration. During the raid, irregularities were found in gas booking and cylinder delivery. Even in Noida, people have to stand in long queues for cylinders.
741 cylinders seized in Chhattisgarh also
Chhattisgarh government is also in action mode amid LPG crisis. Raids were conducted at 102 places in different districts in the state. During this period 741 cylinders were seized. Maximum 392 cylinders have been seized in Raipur. Action has been taken against the person hoarding LPG cylinders. Cylinders are not available during online booking, due to which people are seen standing in queues outside the gas warehouse since morning. People’s cylinder problems do not seem to be ending.
