Watching movies in theaters is not mandatory. “Now the audience has a choice of multiple platforms, including Netflix, Amazon,” he said. Producers have invested huge amounts. He said that the ticket price will be increased because they have to get money in return.

In Andhra, if the ticket price is to be increased, the approval of the government is required. That too there is a chance to increase the ticket price only for a few days. However, there is no such rule in Karnataka. Thus, this is considered as oppression.
