This matter was related to the decision of on-field umpire Kumar Dharmasena, in which he allowed Bangladesh to take review on the 5th ball of the last over.
cricbuzz A source told PTI, “Pakistan team management believes that Bangladesh took the review when the replay of that ball was shown on the big screen. That is why after the end of the match, the team management went to the referee and informed him about this.”

Coach Hesson lodged a complaint with match referee Rashid

After that controversial DRS, coach Mike Hesson has lodged a complaint with match referee Niimur Rashid. However, it is not clear what outcome the PCB wants from this complaint. According to reports, the match referee met Hesson and tried to explain the entire situation to him in detail. Rashid also clarified that the host team did not take any unfair advantage of any kind.

The incident occurred when Pakistan needed 12 runs from the last 2 balls while chasing 291 runs. Rishad bowled against Shaheen Afridi who was batting, which Dharamsena declared ‘wide’. Although the host team could not directly review the ‘wide’ decision, Bangladesh appealed for LBW, due to which the decision went to the third umpire. The ball hit the bat and the decision of wide was changed.

Apart from them, Liton (41) and Tauheed Hriday (48*) took the team to 290/5. In reply, Pakistan lost 3 wickets for just 17 runs. Despite a bad start, Pakistan kept losing wickets. After this, despite the struggle of Salman (106) and Shaheen (37), the team was reduced to 279.
