Bollywood actor Salman Khan starrer ‘Battle of Galwan’ (Battle of Galwan) Fans are looking forward to the release of the movie. But now the film team has changed the title without giving any notice. ‘Battle of Galvan’ replaced by ‘Motherland’ (Maatrubhoomi) Named as On March 16, Salman Khan shared the new poster of the film on social media (Salman Khan)has created curiosity among fans by giving the caption ‘Let there be peace to the war’.

In the new poster, Salman Khan is seen with a bloodied face and is seen blocking a pole surrounded by barbed wire. The new title of the film is prominently displayed in the poster. Earlier it was announced that the movie will release on April 10, but the new poster has no mention of the release date, which has left fans confused.

Speaking about the title change, director Apoorva Lakhia said, ‘This is not a sudden decision. We had registered two titles Battle of Galvan and Motherland from the beginning. During the shoot we realized that this is not just a war story, but a story of humanity, compassion and the struggles of soldiers. So the name Matrubhumi seemed more suitable’, he explained.

The title ‘Battle of Galvan’ was also opposed by China. China’s state-owned newspaper Global Times expressed displeasure over the film, which is based on the 2020 Galwan conflict. The film was criticized for distorting reality and inciting anti-China sentiment.

‘Mathrubhoomi’, starring Chitrangada Singh along with Salman Khan, is produced by ‘Salman Khan Films’. Fans are giving mixed reactions on social media after hearing the news of the title change. There have been comments that this is a title change or a new movie title.
