There is now shortage of LPG cylinders across the country. Due to the conflict created between Iran and America-Israel, there has been a disruption in the energy supply and LPG shortage has started in India. The hotel industry across the country, including Bangalore, has been hit hard. Several hotels have already closed their doors. The availability of household cylinders is also less. This situation is causing a lot of problems to common people. Not only common people but now also Bollywood celebrities are facing the problem of shortage of LPG cylinders. Bollywood star actor Akshay Kumar is currently facing a problem due to lack of cylinders and has turned towards induction.
Akshay Kumar himself shared interesting information about this, ‘I was not very aware of the shortage of LPG, there is no problem with cooking gas at home at the moment. But my wife Twinkle has already ordered and brought two induction stoves,’ said Akshay. Twinkle has taken this decision with the foresight that if the supply of cooking gas stops completely in the future, there should be no problem in cooking.

According to reports, sales of induction stoves have increased by 300 per cent in states like Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Karnataka, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. Many hotels and restaurants are already switching from LPG to electric alternatives or coal stoves. Block market prices of LPG cylinders in many states have skyrocketed and supply is low, drawing people to such alternatives.
Due to fluctuations in LPG supply, the government has appealed to the public not to hoard cylinders unnecessarily. It is suggested to use piped natural gas (PNG) or electric stoves as much as possible. Akshay Kumar’s move has sparked debate in Bollywood circles as well, as other stars are also stepping up to keep their home cooking systems safe.
Akshay Kumar has many times claimed that he is a good cook. Earlier in an interview, she said that she makes special dishes like ‘Chocolate Paratha’ for her children. Now that the home has an induction stove, it can be assumed that Akshay’s cooking experiments will continue on the electric stove from now on.
