New Delhi: Cyber ​​fraudsters are adopting various tactics to defraud the people of the country. Thugs have now started targeting players too. A latest case of cheating players in the name of Youth Khelo India Federation has come to light. An organization working on social media under the name Youth Khelo India Federation is claiming to be associated with the Government of India, Khelo India and the Indian Olympic Association. Which is completely fake.

Do not trust the words of Youth Khelo India Federation

PIB fact checked that no organization named Youth Khelo India Federation is associated with the government and Khelo India campaign. PIB said that this organization is also demanding payment from the athletes by demanding an entry fee of $825 from each participant (player) to participate in the ‘International Games 2026 Thailand’.

PIB Fact Check has revealed that this organization is neither associated with sports nor recognized by Sports Authority of India i.e. SAI (Sports Authority of India) or any body associated with it.

SAI has nothing to do with ‘International Games 2026 Thailand’ event

PIB also revealed after investigation that the event named ‘International Games 2026 Thailand’ has no connection with the Sports Authority of India (SAI) or the Khelo India Programme, Government of India. The Sports Authority of India does not allow any private entity to collect participation fees from athletes for international events in this manner. Therefore, players and citizens of the country need to be cautious about this organization.
