The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee has implemented a new rule regarding devotees arriving at the temple, saying that non-Hindus are not compulsorily allowed to enter the temple. Once they enter the temple, they have to submit an affidavit to the temple administration that they believe in Hinduism and practice Hinduism. He said that this rule was made to protect the sanctity of the temple. He said that the same rule will be followed in the 47 temples under the jurisdiction of the temple committee.

The chairman of the committee, Hemant Dwivedi, who gave information about this, took Sarah Ali Khan as an example and said, ‘Sara Ali Khan cannot visit Kedarnath and Badrinath temples. Once they have to visit they should ensure their faith in Sanatan Dharma. He can come inside the temple only after submitting the affidavit,’ said the President.
