“CM’s forceful entry during raid is not right”, SC reprimands Mamata Banerjee in I-PAC case

The next hearing of this case will be on March 24.

ED has made these allegations

The ED has alleged that, when the team reached Prateek Jain’s residence and I-PAC office on January 8 to search, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had also reached there and seized files, documents and electronic devices. The agency claimed that some senior state police officials were also present at the spot along with the Chief Minister’s convoy and had obstructed the investigation. ED said, there is video evidence of these incidents, which can be presented in the court. At the same time, Trinamool Congress had termed the ED’s action as motivated by ‘political vendetta’ and alleged that opposition parties are being targeted by misusing central agencies.
