The date of the upcoming assembly elections in Kerala has been released. In such a situation, all the political parties have started election preparations and have jumped into the field of election campaign. Various political parties including Left, BJP, Congress have also started releasing the lists of candidates for the Kerala Assembly elections. In this sequence, on Thursday, Bharatiya Janata Party has released the second list of candidates. Names of 39 candidates have appeared in this list.

The Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party met yesterday under the chairmanship of Nitin Nabin on Wednesday. This meeting was attended by Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah and all other members of the Central Election Committee of BJP. The committee has decided the following names for the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections:
When are the elections in Kerala?
The Election Commission had recently announced that elections for 140 assembly seats in Kerala will be held on April 9. The main contest in the elections is between the ruling Left Alliance (LDF) and the Congress-led UDF. The results of the elections will be declared on May 4.
