Rashmika Mandanna recently got married to Vijay Devarakonda in a grand manner. This is their first festival after marriage. But this Ugadi festival is very special for them. Rashmika Mandanna has won the state award for the first time for acting. Rashmika received the Gadar award given by the Telangana government and she received the award and spoke emotionally at the award ceremony.
Rashmika was jointly presented with the Ghadar Award by CM Revanth Reddy and Ram Charan. While receiving the award, CM Revanth Reddy himself called Rashmikar the daughter-in-law of his hometown. This made Rashmika very happy. Speaking later, Rashmika Mandanna said, ‘At one time my acting was trolled, but now a government has appreciated my acting and given me an award.’
Speaking further, I am very happy to have received this award for the movie ‘Girlfriend’. The movie ‘Girlfriend’ is a very special movie for me. Awarding this movie has inspired me to make many more movies like this and to do experiments. My thanks to everyone in the selection committee for this award, including Dil Raju. Rashmika thanked director Rahul Ravindran, co-star Dixit, producers Vidya and Dheeraj and many more for the movie ‘Girlfriend’.
