Eid prayers will be offered at Delhi’s Jama Masjid at 6.45 am on Saturday. Delhi Police has made strict security arrangements for the Namaz. With the help of drones and AI, surveillance is being maintained around the entire mosque. Delhi Police has been asked by the Delhi High Court to ensure that the atmosphere of Delhi does not get spoiled during Eid. Special care should be taken of this. President Draupadi Murmu also greeted people on Friday on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr and urged everyone to take a pledge to promote unity and harmony in the society and contribute to the progress of the nation.

The President said that this festival, celebrated after the end of the holy month of Ramzan, gives the message of self-restraint, charity and compassion towards the underprivileged. Murmu said that it also gives the message of love, brotherhood, peace and mutual harmony. The President said, “This festival reminds us that we must strive for the welfare of all individuals. On this occasion, let us resolve to help the needy, promote unity and harmony in the society and contribute to the progress of the nation.” In his message, the President said, ”On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, I extend my warm wishes and greetings to all the countrymen, especially our Muslim brothers and sisters living in India and abroad.”

Police made strict security arrangements

Police have made tight security arrangements to avoid any untoward situation during prayers on the occasion of Eid. More than 15 thousand security personnel have been deployed. Drones are being used to keep an eye on every activity. Suspicious people will be identified with the help of Artificial Intelligence. Orders have also been given to keep the traffic system tight.

The atmosphere should not be spoiled on the occasion of Eid – Delhi High Court

Delhi High Court said that police should take all precautionary measures including strengthening security arrangements so that the festival of Eid can be celebrated peacefully. The court said that police security arrangements in the area should be continued till after Ram Navami. The court expressed hope that all sections of the society should maintain patience among themselves so that peace and harmony can be maintained. Delhi High Court has directed Delhi Police to take all necessary steps to ensure peaceful celebration of Eid. The High Court has said that policing should continue in the area till Ram Navami.
