Mangalore based actress Sneha Ullal is one of the popular Bollywood actresses. Although he was born in Oman, he is of Mangalore origin. She made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan starrer ‘Lucky’. That is the reason why he came into the film industry because of his similarity with Aishwarya Rai. In a recent interview, he shared interesting things about his early career days, association with Salman Khan and meeting Aishwarya Rai. In particular, he claimed to have apologized to Aishwarya Rai.
Sneha, who made her Bollywood debut in 2005 with the film ‘Lucky: No Time for Love’, was in the news because she looked like Miss Universe Aishwarya Rai. Sneha met Aishwarya at a time when the media was calling her Aishwarya Rai’s clone. Sneha Ullal, who recalled that occasion in an interview, said, ‘When I met Aishwarya, I apologized to him. I was afraid that he might be angry with me because of the comparisons that were being made in the media. I have requested them not to hate me please’. But Aishwarya Rai was very affectionate with me, Aishwarya said, ‘Welcome to the Bollywood family,'” recalls Sneha.

Talking about Salman Khan, Sneha recalled his support during the shoot. ‘Salman, has never been impatient with me. I was fresh out of college. Salman taught me everything very patiently. He didn’t show anger against me, he didn’t show ego,’ said Sneha.
Sneha, who says that she never wanted to be an actress, says Salman Khan’s younger sister Arpita’s friends saw Sneha for the first time in college. At the same time, Salman and Aishwarya Rai’s relationship broke up. Sneha was chosen for ‘Lucky: No Time for Love’ because she looks like Aishwarya Rai. Reacting to that, Sneha said, ‘It was a publicity stunt, as I was very young, those comparisons never bothered me.’
Despite the launch with Salman Khan, Sneha Ullal has been very successful in South movies and has acted in some good movies in Telugu including ‘Ullasanga, Eyamanga’. He also acted in the Kannada movie ‘Devi’.
