Suspended with immediate effect
Due to this, 6 BJD MLAs have been suspended with immediate effect. They have been found involved in anti-party activities, including cross-voting against party instructions in the recently held Rajya Sabha elections. The suspension has been announced in an official order issued today by BJD president Naveen Patnaik.
