Indian LPG carrier Pine Gas and Jag Vasant: After the attack by America and Israel on Iran, the crisis of gas, petroleum products and fertilizers has started looming in the country. There is a lot of fighting especially regarding LPG. However, the government is continuously giving assurances that the supply system will remain operational. Special initiatives are being taken by the administration to stop black marketing. Meanwhile, the good news is that the Indian flagged Pine Gas and ‘Jag Vasant’ LPG tanker has left the death zone of the Strait of Hormuz and will soon reach India. The first picture of this tanker after crossing the Strait of Hormuz has also been revealed.
27 Indian sailors on Pine Gas ship
A total of 27 Indian sailors are on board the Pine Gas LPG tanker. This tanker can reach the Indian coast between 27 to 28 March. According to sources, the tanker crossed the Strait of Hormuz using the route between Larak and Qeshm islands off the Iranian coast. According to sources, as soon as it entered the Gulf of Oman after crossing Hormuz, the warships of the Indian Navy present there took this tanker under their surveillance. Now this tanker is moving towards Indian shores.
Jug spring with pine gas also crossed Hormuz
Along with Pine Gas, another ship ‘Jag Vasant’ has also crossed the Strait of Hormuz. About 92,612 metric tons of LPG consignment is reaching India from these two LPG tankers. Visuals of this ship have also surfaced in which this tanker can be seen successfully leaving the war-torn area.
Limited movement from Hormuz after 28 February
The Strait of Hormuz is almost closed since the attack on Iran by the US and Israel on February 28. Iran had warned that ships passing through it would have to take its permission. During this period, many ships were attacked in this area and suffered huge losses. Let us tell you that India imports a large part of its LPG requirements through this route. The safe release of the Pine Gas LPG tanker has brought a lot of relief.
