New Delhi: According to the health update issued regarding the health of senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, her condition is stable. The team of doctors is examining him for possible infections in the stomach and urinary tract. He was admitted to Sir Gangaram Hospital in Delhi on Tuesday night.

News agency ANI quoted Dr. Ajay Swaroop, Chairman of the Medical Facility, as saying that Sonia Gandhi’s condition is stable. He was admitted to Sir Sangaram Hospital at 10.20 pm on Tuesday night. Dr Swaroop said, “His condition is stable. Doctors are conducting further tests to check for possible infection in the stomach and urinary tract. Antibiotics have been given. A team of doctors is monitoring his condition.”

It was reported on Tuesday night that Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital after having difficulty in breathing. According to ANI, Dr. Swaroop said that Sonia Gandhi’s bronchial asthma had increased slightly due to the combined effect of cold weather and current pollution in Delhi.

Due to Sonia Gandhi’s ill health, Rahul Gandhi also canceled his Kerala tour. He was scheduled to kick off the campaign for the Kerala Assembly elections with a big rally in Kozhikode today.
