The party has taken strict action against AIMIM leader Tauqeer Nizami, who came into limelight for his statement of giving shopping to his loved ones on Eid. AIMIM has considered his statement as indiscipline and expelled him from the primary membership of the party with immediate effect. Talking to India TV after this action, Tauqeer Nizami said, I have not received the letter yet, I will talk to the national president in this matter.

It is written in the letter

It is formally informed that Tauqeer Nizami has recently given a public statement, in which he has asked Muslims to shop only from Muslims. The party has taken this statement seriously. Such statements are irresponsible, provocative and create division in the society. These are not only against the ideology and principles of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) but also against the spirit of the Constitution of India, which promotes equality, justice and communal harmony among all citizens.

The letter said, AIMIM is fully committed to the constitutional values ​​and does not support any kind of discrimination, division or economic exclusion on the basis of religion or community. In view of this indiscipline and violation of party principles, the party leadership has decided to take strict action. Accordingly, Tauqeer Nizami is expelled from the primary membership of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) with immediate effect.

Along with this, the party also makes it clear that any kind of unconstitutional conduct or statements promoting division in the society will not be tolerated, and strict action will be taken against any such person, irrespective of his position or position in the organization.
