The release of Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer ‘Peddi’ directed by Butchi Babu Sana has already been postponed twice. But now the release of the movie is likely to be delayed due to the injury sustained by Ram Charan during the shooting and Ram Charan undergoing surgery due to it. This has made Ram Charan fans very worried.
It was said that the movie ‘Peddi’ will be released in February. Later the date of March was fixed. But to make way for Pawan’s ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ in March, ‘Peddi’ was postponed to April 30. The shooting and dubbing of the movie was also over. But during the shooting of patchwork work, Ram Charan caught his eye. Due to this, Ram Charan had to undergo surgery soon.
This has worried the film team. It is said that Ram Charan is not in a condition to continue shooting for the time being, although the shooting of a few scenes is pending. Ram Charan sustained a minor injury while shooting a high-voltage action sequence of the film ‘Peddi’ at the Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad. Although it was initially thought to be a minor injury, he was hit on the eyelid of his left eye which required immediate surgery.

Ram Charan’s father Chiranjeevi also thanked the doctor who performed his son’s surgery and tweeted, ‘Dr Sudhakar Prasad, the timely and skillful surgery you performed on Charan’s eyes is a great blessing to us. Your precise treatment and care removed the anxiety we had. We are grateful for your artistic professionalism. Thank you’. Ram Charan’s wife also thanked the doctor.
The reason for this delay is said to be that the shooting of the film is still pending and more time is required for the post production works. If it doesn’t release in April, the film is expected to hit the screens in the month of June or August. Due to this, Charan fans are somewhat disappointed and worried.
