Earthquake: Earth trembled due to earthquake in Ladakh, intensity was so much on Richter scale

Earthquake: Earthquake tremors were felt in Leh, Ladakh on Friday morning. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), its intensity has been measured at 3.9 on the Richter scale. This earthquake occurred today i.e. on March 27 at 08:31 am.

4.0 magnitude earthquake in Nepal

Yesterday, mild earthquake tremors were felt in the morning in Sudurpaschim province located in the north-western part of Nepal. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 4.0 on the Richter scale. According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center (NEMRC), the earthquake was felt at 8.32 am. The epicenter of the earthquake was reported to be around Murai area of ​​Darchula district. The tremors were also felt in nearby Baitadi and Bajhang districts.

Earthquake tremors in Rajkot

At the same time, mild earthquake tremors were felt in Rajkot district located in Saurashtra region of Gujarat on Tuesday evening. According to the Gandhinagar-based Institute of Seismic Research (ISR), its intensity was recorded at 3.2 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was recorded at 5.41 pm, with its epicenter located about seven kilometers south-southwest of Rajkot at a depth of 15 kilometers. Local residents said no tremors were detected.

Earlier, strong earthquake tremors were felt in Nepal’s Sudurpaschim province on Monday afternoon. The intensity of this earthquake was measured at 4.1 on the Richter scale. The earthquake occurred at 1:14 pm on Monday afternoon. Its epicenter was located underground near the Rayal area of ​​Bazhang district. The tremors were so effective that people in Bajura and Baitadi, neighboring districts of Bajhang, panicked and started running towards open fields. The Sudurpaschim province of Nepal has been the center of continuous seismic activities for the last few days. Earlier, on March 17, an earthquake of 4.0 magnitude had occurred in Darchula district (Sitaula area) of the same province.
