The movie Ustad Bhagat Singh was released in theaters recently. Releasing opposite ‘Dhurandhar 2’ on March 19, it is struggling to earn Rs 100 crore. Srileela is the female lead in this film which is a mass action entertainer. Rashi Khanna also shines in another important role. Kollywood actor Parthiban plays the villain in this film. The film is coming to OTT within a few weeks of its release.
People did not like Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’. Harish Shankar’s dialogues, Srileela and Rashi Khanna’s glamor did not work. Despite some positive elements in the film, Ustad Bhagat Singh’s film looks a bit weak in terms of story and narration. In addition, the release of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ turned out to be a minus for Ustad. The digital streaming rights of ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ have been sold even before the theatrical release. Popular OTT company Netflix bought the film for a huge price. In a press conference, the film’s producer Naveen Erneni said that Ustad will release on OTT around 5 weeks after its theatrical release. However, it is said that before that, the movie will be streaming on OTT on April 16.
