New Delhi: In view of the worsening situation in West Asia and its possible impact on India after the joint attack by America and Israel on Iran on February 28, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh called a meeting of an informal group of ministers on Saturday. This meeting is continuing under the chairmanship of Rajnath Singh. This meeting is taking place at a time when the central government has held several meetings regarding the Iran war. People are also being assured that there is no shortage of fuel. The Ministry of External Affairs is keeping an eye on the situation and is also trying to provide all possible help to Indian citizens living in West Asia.

Let us tell you that earlier on Friday also a meeting was held with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors of Union Territories through video conferencing. In this meeting, the preparedness of the states was reviewed in view of the situation in West Asia and its possible impacts.
