Rocking star Yash’s much-awaited film ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ has been postponed. This movie which was supposed to release on March 19 will now hit the screens on June 04. One of the most awaited movies of Indian cinema is the movie ‘Toxic’. Many star actresses have acted as heroines in this Yash starrer movie. Starring Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, Huma Qureshi and Tara Sutaria. But among so many actresses, Kiara Advani’s is said to be the most important role. This is her first Kannada movie, and ‘Toxic’ director Geethu Mohandas has told why she chose Kiara for the movie ‘Toxic’.
Speaking in an interview, National Award-winning director Geethu Mohan Das said, ‘Kiara was my first and only choice for the role of Nadia. The role demanded tenderness and fierceness at the same time. Kiara Advani has both. Kiara’s screen presence has an innate human quality, which was essential for the role.
Kiara does not just play the role as directed by the director, but understands the emotional depth of the character. He lives that character in his mind even before he comes in front of the camera. Geethu Mohandas praised his discipline and his curiosity about the role, which transforms the process of filming into a meaningful dialogue rather than a one-sided direction.

The role of ‘Nadia’ tested Kiara a lot physically and emotionally. He has poured his full energy into this role. While Kiara was acting in certain scenes, I felt like the character was breathing life before my eyes, says director Geethu Mohandas with pride.
After giving birth to a baby girl in July 2025, Kiara Advani is returning to the silver screen with this big project. ‘Toxic’ will release worldwide on June 4. The film stars Kiara Advani, Nayantara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth along with Yash.
