Iran will allow 20 Pakistani ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz

Iran has allowed 20 Pakistani flagged ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has given this information. He told that under this agreement, 2 Pakistani ships will cross the Strait of Hormuz every day. This announcement has been made after the recent diplomatic talks between Pakistan and Iran. Dar spoke on phone with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi.

Dar said- This step of Iran is a sign of peace

“I am pleased to share the very good news that the Government of Iran has agreed to allow 20 more Pakistani-flagged ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz,” Dar said. This is a welcome and constructive step by Iran, which should be appreciated. This is an auspicious sign of peace and will help bring stability in the region. Dialogue, diplomacy and confidence-building measures are the only way forward.

2 LPG ships from Hormuz reach India

Two Indian flag ships carrying LPG have reached India after crossing Hormuz. The ship named Jag Vasant reached Kolkata at around 8 pm on Friday night. This 230 meter long ship has 47,000 tonnes of LPG. Another ship named Pine Gas also entered Indian territorial waters on Friday night. This ship will reach Dhamra port of Odisha on 2 April.
