Bangalore: Muzarayi minister Ramalingareddy said all types of plastic use, including water bottles, will be banned in temples in the state’s Muzarayi department from August 15.

Speaking at a news conference after the Mujarai Department’s progress review meeting yesterday, he said, “We are opening a plastic free temple from August 15. He has suggested that plastic should not be used in temples for any reason.

The order has been given for 2 months to be implemented and can be used if plastic ingredients have already been taken. He has made it clear that there will be no plastic use in temples since August 15.
