Two accused of marijuana trafficking on a bike!

Mandya: Excise police have succeeded in cracking a marijuana illegal trafficking network in Sugarenadu Mandya. The Srirangapatna Excise Police had arrested two accused for illegally transporting marijuana on a bike and 12 kg worth Rs 7 lakh. Cannabis has been seized.

The arrested accused have been identified as Irshad and Akbar. He is a native of Mysore and Chamarajanagar and has been raid on a bike without a number plate, which was carried out under the direction of DC Nagasayana, a DC Nagasayana, near Bommur Agrahara.

It is learned that the accused were supplied with marijuana from Odisha and supplied to many districts including Mysore and Mandya. A case has been filed under the Drug Act, which was previously involved in the same scandal.
