Bangalore: CM Siddaramaiah will hold a persuasive meeting today with farmers who are opposed to land acquisition in the Channarayapatnam Hobali range of Devanahalli taluk for the development of high -tech defense and aerospace park.
A preliminary notification was issued on February 15, 2022, to acquire 1,777 acres of 1,777 acres of land belonging to Channarayapatnam hobby for the development of high -tech Defense and Aerospace Park.
However, the government has decided to abandon 495 acres of land in the villages of Channarayapatnam, Mattabarlu and Protriya Tellohalli villages, which have been opposed by farmers in connection with the land. However, the farmers of the remaining 10 villages have continued to protest against the land acquisition.
Siddaramaiah will hold a meeting to persuade the farmers to discuss the issue and provide land. Siddaramaiah on Thursday, DCM DK Shivakumar, Minister H.K. Patil, M.B. Patil, K.H. Muniyappa, B.S. Suresh, Chief Secretary Shalini has held a meeting with Rajneesh. Siddaramaiah, at the time, has received information on the plans and the persuasion of the farmers.
