A Nigerian citizen who was staying illegally in Bangalore was arrested by the Bannerghatta police! – Btv Kannada

Bangalore: The Bannerghatta police have arrested a female citizen of Nigeria who was staying illegally even though her visa and passports had expired. The authorities have started the process of extraditing the illegal resident woman to her home country.

The Nigerian woman was staying illegally in Begihalli under the Bannerghatta police station on the outskirts of Bangalore. Bannerghatta Police successfully traced the woman and took her into custody.

The Bannerghatta police handed over the illegal resident woman to the Foreigners Registration Office (FRRO). As part of the legal proceedings, the police handed over the Nigerian national to the immigration authorities. Right now, the process of extradition of the Nigerian citizen to his home country is underway and he will be sent back to his country soon.
