On the occasion of centenary of RSS in Mumbai, Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat clarified what kind of person can become the RSS chief. He said that a person of any caste can become Sarsanghchalak. The one who is going to do the work is given responsibility. Mohan Bhagwat openly expressed his opinion on the functioning of the Sangh, its future direction and social harmony.
A person’s value in the organization depends on his work.
He said that the head of the Sangh is neither a Brahmin, nor a Kshatriya, nor a Vaishya. A person’s value in the organization depends on his work. The responsibility is given only to the one who is available and most qualified. In future, a person from SC or ST category can also become Sarsanghchalak. Only the one who works will move forward.”
Have to work for the society till the last drop of blood
Referring to his age during his address, he said that as per the rules, one has to work without any responsibility after completing the age of 75 years. I had expressed my desire to retire after completing 75 years, but on the insistence of my colleagues, I am still handling the responsibility. I will retire from my responsibilities but not from work. We have to work for the society till the last drop of blood.”

Referring to Bangladesh, the Sangh chief said-; There are 1.25 crore Hindus in Bangladesh. They are together now. They have decided that they will not run away but will stay there and fight. The government here is trying to help them and we should hope that they will be successful.

On the UGC controversy, he said that all the reservations as per the Constitution are supported by the Sangh. Caste discrimination should be eliminated from the society. Mohan Bhagwat said, “People from the Hindu community have gradually given up low-skilled jobs. Everyone is running after high-paid jobs. People who do not call themselves Hindus, if they belong to this country, should also get jobs. Our population is very large. Therefore, we are working for progress. Whatever we do, it should create jobs, not destroy them. So, what should we do to ensure that jobs are not lost? We will have to become experts in it and use it. We will not allow it to come, and we will use it in such a way that it does not affect the employment.
Making good quality goods will increase demand
Sangh chief Bhagwat said, “I had said this: production is happening on a large scale, there are big companies, and our MNCs are also competing; Indian companies also need to compete, and they will. But our focus should be on production by the common people rather than mass production. If one type of production is done in thousands of places, it will become cheaper in our country. Then the competition will not be on the basis of price, but on the basis of quality, and if If we make good quality goods, then the demand for our products should also increase. Secondly, we should encourage people to work with their hands, which are in short supply. Our economy and our thinking should be such that everyone is running after jobs;
