Abhishek Bachchan told how Amitabh Bachchan invests

The Bachchan family of Bollywood has not only depended on film success, but has also mastered the art of how to grow assets and wealth wisely. Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who was recently in the news for investing in firms Swiggy and Naagin Saas, has now revealed his father Amitabh Bachchan’s investment rules.

Speaking at the Global Business Summit, Abhishek said, ‘My father always believed in buying physical assets. He is especially fond of real estate and gold. I was also investing in gold, then my wife suggested me to focus on silver as well, she likes silver more,’ he shared information about his family’s financial discipline. Amitabh Bachchan is said to own commercial properties worth more than 600 crores in Mumbai alone.

Abhishek seems to have his own strict rules when it comes to not only investing but also becoming a certain brand ambassador. ‘I can promote any brand as an actor. But, promoting something I personally don’t use feels like cheating to me. If a company comes forward to make me an ambassador, do I use that product first? I think that’ he said.

Sharing his 20 years of experience, he expressed his sincerity saying, “I still wear an Omega watch, used a Ford car, used an Idea SIM and a Motorola phone. These are all brands that I personally like to use.”

Abhishek Bachchan has invested heavily not only in real estate but also in the world of sports. He is the owner of Pro Kabaddi team ‘Jaipur Pink Panthers’ and co-owner of football team ‘Chennaiyin FC’. In addition to these, they have expanded their business by investing in startups like ‘Wahdam Tea’. Abhishek Bachchan is also said to own real estate worth around 250 crores in Mumbai.
