Adulterated milk wreaks havoc, 4 die due to kidney failure within 48 hours, 12 hospitalized

A surprising case has come to light from Rajahmundry area of ​​East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Where within the last 48 hours, 4 people died suddenly due to kidney related disease. 12 other people are undergoing treatment in several hospitals. All the victims are said to be above 65 years of age.

A very shocking thing has come to light in the investigation of this case. Investigation revealed that the victims had used adulterated milk. After drinking adulterated milk, the health of these people deteriorated and 4 died. Many are hospitalized.

The investigating officials have taken into custody a milk seller from Narsapuram village of Korukonda mandal. During the investigation, his illegally running dairy unit has also been seized. Officials said that out of 105 families supplied milk from that particular vendor, samples have been taken from 75 families. Testing is being done to find out the cause of the suspected disease.

CM Naidu held emergency review meeting

Special teams from Vijayawada have come to Rajahmundry to monitor the situation and oversee medical and rescue measures. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu held an emergency review meeting with officials and directed them to take immediate steps for better treatment of the victims.

Sample is being examined

As soon as the district administration received this information, water samples were first tested in the affected areas. When everything turned out to be correct, the direction of the investigation changed. A link emerged between all the victim families that all had used food supplied by the same vendor. Since then investigation is being done from the angle of adulterated milk.
