Shortly after this, news came out that the air ambulance coming from Ranchi to Delhi had crashed. The news of its crash has come to light in Chatra, Jharkhand. What did DGCA and airport tell?

Information was revealed quoting DGCA sources that a charter plane has disappeared from the radar soon after taking off from Ranchi Airport. At the same time, sources at Ranchi Airport had said that a medical flight took off, its contact was established with the next station, then the control was handed over to the next station. After this the contact was lost. The plane did not contact Ranchi airport. This information has been given to the state. All necessary SOPs are being followed.

Ranchi Airport Director gave information

According to the information given by PTI, this accident happened after the air ambulance took off from Ranchi Airport at 7.10 pm on Monday. According to Ranchi Airport Director Vinod Kumar, the air ambulance carrying 7 people from Ranchi to Delhi crashed near Simaria in Chatra district of Jharkhand. He said that the report of the accident has been received from the state administration.

Why did the plane crash?

The crashed air ambulance is said to be of Red Bird Airways. The air ambulance lost contact with ATC at 7.34 pm. The air ambulance was being driven by Captain Vivek Vikas Bhagat and Captain Sawardeep Singh. There is a possibility that the air ambulance may have met with an accident due to bad weather or technical fault. SP Sumit Aggarwal has left for the spot. More information is awaited in the case.

Who were on board the plane?

According to the information revealed, the air ambulance was carrying a patient named 41-year-old Sanjay Kumar. Sanjay Kumar was in critical condition due to burns. Sanjay Kumar was admitted in Dev Kamal Hospital. He was being taken by air ambulance. Apart from him, the six people on board the air ambulance included Ritesh Kumar, Sachin Kumar Mishra, Dr. Vikas Kumar Gupta, Archana Devi and Dhuru Kumar.
