Mandya: Maddur Taluk Annoor Gram Panchayat Achievement has been included in the India Book of Records, which has been set up by simultaneously leaving the maximum number of rangoli as part of the National Panchayat Raj Day.
This is another feather addition to the Annoor Gram Panchayat, which has attracted the attention of the rural development programs. On April 27, 2025, the activities of Rangoli were organized in 03 villages in the Annoor Gram Panchayat to promote the active participation of women in women’s empowerment and local administration.

A total of 1,544 people from the villages of Annoor and Ayabhujanahalli Karkalli in the Gram Panchayat were present at the event. A total of 1,418 rangoli was created using natural ingredients such as rice flour, turmeric powder and colored sand. Of this, 818 of the Annoor Grapam were created by 728 Rangoli, 373 in Ayabhujujalla and 373 in Karkahalli.

So far, Annoor Grapam has won the awards given by many national, state and organizations. It is more fun to have this achievement with the active participation of women. Annoor Gram Panchayat PDO Ashwini thanked senior officials, elected members of the Gram Panchayat and the governing body.
