Bangalore: After receiving bomb threat e-mails to the city’s schools and the airport, now it’s our metro’s turn. The official e-mail of Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) received a serious threat from an unknown person to blow up the metro station.
On November 14 around 11.30 pm, the official e-mail of BMRCL received a threatening message. The person who sent the e-mail, my estranged wife is being harassed by our metro staff. One of your metro stations will have to be blasted, warns Hushar. It is alarming that this Assamese, who has threatened, said in the e-mail that I am an extremist, especially against Kannadigas.

After checking the threatening e-mail, BMRCL officials immediately lodged a complaint at Wilson Garden Police Station. Based on the complaint, the Wilson Garden police registered an FIR and started an investigation. Police are continuing to search for the unidentified person who sent the e-mail.
