Mandya: The incident took place near the Sarvadharma Ashram in the district. The incident took place yesterday evening at the Sarvadharma Ashram in Srirangapatna taluk of the district, where Mahesh (36) was killed in the river.

Mahesh was working as an auto driver in Mysore. Yesterday, when he was on a trip to KRS with friends, he went to take a photo near the Sarvadharma Ashram. Mahesh Ayatappi has slipped his foot to the Kaveri River. Mahesh has been washed away in the river due to the increased water.

Mahesh is currently searching for a fire brigade. The incident took place at the KRS police station.
