Bangalore Tunnel Road Project – Low Bid Adani Group!

Adani Group has bid the lowest amount in the tender process for the 16.75 km long tunnel road project, which is intended to relieve the traffic problem of Silicon City. Adani Group has emerged as the lowest bidder in the bidding process held in two packages of the tunnel road project.

The government had fixed an estimated cost of Rs 17,698 crore for the project. However, Adani Group bid for Rs 22,267 crore. This means that the Adani Group has asked for Rs 4,569 crore (24 per cent) more than the government estimate. On the other hand, Hyderabad-based Vishwa Samudra Group is in second place (L2) with a bid of Rs 25,474 crore.
