Crowd gathering at gas agencies
Let us tell you that these days long queues of people are being seen outside the gas agencies in many big cities of the country like Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow and Bhopal. People are waiting for hours to get their cylinders filled, the main reason for which is the news of ongoing war and tension in some countries of the world (Middle East). Due to these news, there is a fear in the minds of the general public that in the coming time, the supply of LPG may stop or the prices may increase. Due to this panic, people are running to stock gas ahead of time, due to which an atmosphere of chaos has been created in the markets.
However, the government has completely rejected all these apprehensions. The government says that there is sufficient stock of gas and oil in the country and there is no interruption in the supply chain. The Petroleum Ministry has made it clear that the international situation will not have any impact on India’s domestic supply and gas supply will continue as normal as before. The government has appealed to the people not to pay attention to rumors and avoid making panic bookings as the country’s energy supply is completely secure.
