BJP announces 11 candidates from Kerala and 2 from Assam, read the complete list

Bharatiya Janata Party has released a new list of its candidates for the Kerala and Assam Assembly elections 2026. In this list, BJP has announced the names of candidates for 11 seats in Kerala and 2 seats in Assam, due to which the election atmosphere has become more heated. The list released by the party shows that BJP has chosen the candidates thoughtfully to strengthen its hold in Kerala. Candidates have been given opportunities keeping in mind different areas and social classes.

Rabindranath Vakathanam becomes candidate from Puthuppalli

In this list released by the Central Election Committee of BJP, V. Ratheesh from Peerumed seat, Ajimon from Mavelikkara (SC) and Ravindranath Vakathanam from Puthuppalli have been made candidates. Whereas, Pandalam Prathapan from Adoor (SC), B.S. from Chirayinkeezhu (SC). Anup, Karamana Jayan from Thiruvananthapuram, K.R. from Chavara. Rajesh, R.S. from Chadayamangalam. Arun Raj, Vivek Gopan from Aruvikkara, S. from Neyyattinkara. Rajasekaran Nair and T.N. from Kovalam. Suresh has been given the ticket.

Krishna Saha will be the candidate from Dalgaon, Assam

BJP has also announced the names of 2 candidates for the Assam Assembly elections 2026. The party has nominated Krishna Saha from Dalgaon and Jeevan Gogoi from Sisibargaon. The Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party has approved both these names.

Voting in Assam-Kerala on 9 April

Let us tell you that the election process will be completed in one phase in Kerala and Assam. Voting will be held in both the states on 9 April 2026 and the result will be declared on 4 May.
