Bangalore: As the countdown to the New Year celebrations begins, the CCB police conducted a massive operation and seized narcotics worth ₹2.5 crore. Two accused, including a foreign national, have been arrested. Two accused, Okoke Kristafar from Nigeria and Naveen Raj from Tamil Nadu were arrested in the operation in Bandepalaya and Soladevanahalli.
CCB has arrested Naveen Raj who was storing drugs in Bandepalaya’s house, seized 60 LSD pills and ₹2 lakh in cash. He used to import drugs through the dark web.

Okoke Kristafar of Nigeria was arrested in Soladevanahalli and 1 kg 70 grams of MDMA was seized. He used to bring drugs through his friends and sell them in the city. They were running drug trade targeting IT-BT employees and students of the city. A large order is suspected to have been received for New Year parties.

Kristafar from Nigeria has been arrested twice in drug cases before. He got out on bail and continued the business again, but now he has been jailed.
