New Delhi: There are chances of huge uproar again in the Parliament today. On one hand, the discussion on the general budget is about to begin, while on the other hand, the opposition is fully prepared to corner the government regarding the India-US trade deal and the alleged video of Assam CM Himanta Vishwa Sharma. In this series, opposition MPs will gather at the house of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge today at 10 am.

Congress’ aggressive stance

The opposition is preparing to corner the government on the trade deal between India and America. Especially Congress is adopting an attacking stance. Opposition parties are alleging that the Modi government surrendered to American interests in this trade deal. However, the Commerce Minister has already given a statement in this regard. But the opposition wants a detailed debate on this. Congress MPs Manish Tiwari and Manikam Tagore had given an adjournment motion. But it was rejected, now it is considered certain that there will be an uproar on this issue.

Uproar over Assam CM’s video

Apart from the India-US trade deal, another issue can resonate in the House. This issue is about the alleged video of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma. It is said that this video was shared on the official social media account of Assam BJP. In this video, Himanta Vishwa Sharma was shown symbolically firing at Muslims. However, this was removed after protests. But Congress raised questions on the morality of the government by sharing this video on its social media account.

Opposition leaders will gather at Kharge’s house

On the other hand, before the commencement of the House proceedings, an important meeting of the leaders of the opposition parties is going to be held at the residence of Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge. In this meeting, the parties of the India alliance will prepare a common strategy to corner the government during the budget session. Let us tell you that the discussion on the budget is to start in Parliament from today. Earlier, there was a lot of uproar during the discussion on the motion of thanks regarding the President’s address. Due to the uproar in the Lok Sabha, Prime Minister Modi could not reply to the discussion on the motion of thanks.
