The movie ‘Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu’ earned around Rs 38 crore at the box office on the first day. This is the Indian box office calculation. The movie earned around 10-12 crores from advance booking. Later, the movie earned more than 28.7 crores on the day of its release i.e. Monday. By that the box office collection of India is around 40 crores on the first day. It is said that the movie has collected well abroad, especially in North America, and has earned around 15 crores at the worldwide box office. With that, the total collection of the movie has crossed 55 crores.

The total amount earned by Chiranjeevi’s previous movie ‘Bhola Shankar’ was 45 crores. But this amount was overtaken by the movie ‘Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu’ on the first day itself. Compared to some of Chiranjeevi’s previous movies, this is a movie made just for entertainment without any excessive action, excessive social message, dry speeches, and for this reason people like the movie very much. A lot of comedy, especially Chiranjeevi himself acting in the comedy scenes, is a hit with the audience.

Star actor Victory Venkatesh also acted in the movie along with Chiranjeevi, which turned out to be positive for the movie. Nayantara and Catherine Theresa are the heroines in the movie. The movie is directed by Anil Ravipudi. All the movies directed by Anil Ravipudi released for the festival of Sankranti have become hits.
